this book will get you to bed early for many nights.

The Great Hunt was much better than book 1. It still wasn't something to Wet my pants over but it did get me away from the bad news tv for a few nights. I found the pace and language were more fluent and the plots had some depth. The author begins to define scenery more clearly and I enjoyed the company of the Ogier throughout the book. I wonder if book 1 & 2 would be better condensed into 1 book with less than 1000 pages. Robert J clearly liked writing long, long, long, long stories.
