I enjoyed this book so much. This story tells the reader about the choices we make, not the chances we take, that determine our destiny!! Mothers all over the world have lived for their children and the mundane life we live when caring for them, sprinkled with the extreme love we feel for them. Sometimes it seems like this stage of our lives will never end. We ask ourselves the big question, " what do I want?" Most of us choose to stay to raise our children and give all of ourselves to raising them. Others, like Larissa, the main character in this story, move on to more excitement in their lives. But what are the consequences of this choice??
Unless you like extremely well written books that break your heart, destroy any sense of good and keep you devastated for days - then don't read this book. I actually loved Paullina Simmons so much I gifted it to a lot of people before I'd read it - all I can say is I'm sorry. No love only heartbreak and mostly a true sense of horror at the desperation of the mistake. I have never said don't read anything in a review before. It's been so long since I read this book and it still makes me sad looking at the cover.
