A typically witty and well organised ramble through the graveyards of history from the QI team. Avid followers of the show will recognize many of the people and anecdotes referenced in this book, but fleshed out in much more fascinating detail. This humane and sometimes moving account of the great and not so-gifted will raise both and eyebrow and a smile. If only S. Fry could do a talking book version!
I read this book as a distraction during a busy two weeks at work.. Light reading with a difference and quite enjoyale. I even learnt some stuff which i managed to use to impress my friends at dinner shortly afterwards. Much better than a cheap novel.
