Top critical review
Worth a read.

I am struggling to get through this book . It is slow and repetitive with too many references to the badly behaved young children of the one of the key characters best friends , there's only so many times you can read about how poorly these parents fail to handle their children's bad behaviour over breakfast cereal choices among other things. Never mind the main character being depicted a s a poor version of 'The Devil Wears Prada ' I doubt I will finish this book as it has just become repetitive in all depictions of each character and is so frustrating, I'm not even 1/3 way through ! Very disappointing as I selected it after reading 'The Break' by the same author and couldn't put it down.
After writing my review I did finish the book and it did improve as a twist changed the out look for the main characters. Still the end was a bit predictable.
