My son suffers from blepharitis and after some antibiotic treatment these have help keep his eye clean. we use them every day morning and evening and they are not too abrasive ( a previous brand made his eye bleed) I am not sure if it will clear blepharitis but it helps keep it at bay! we are on our 4th pack.
Each 'wipe' is approximately 6.5cm by 8cm. With care you may be able to cleanse both eyelids with one wipe. They seem effective at cleaning eyelid & lashes area before and after contact lens use. I take care to evaluate all purchases before leaving a review. If you've found this review informative, I'd be very grateful if you'd take a second to click the 'helpful' button.
Seconda volta che acquisto questo prodotto insieme alla schiuma per tenere pulita la zona perioculare.. le salviette sono un prodotto pratico da portare con se e utilizzarle al momento del bisogno. Una bustina è sufficiente per entrambi gli occhi.
I was recently diagnosed with blepharitis, and my Doctor recommended these pads. But boy, they sure are expensive! And considering, they go around the eye, they are not exactly lint-free, or at least there are little loose fibers that can get in my eye if I am not super careful. But that being said (or written), they do seem to help, with the problems I have had - the eye crustiness at the lash line, etc. I try alternating with washing the lid area with a TINY amount of Johnson & Johnson's Baby Shampoo and filtered water, using a lint-free washcloth or cotton pad. This was also recommended by the Doctor is an alternative.
Between age and daily prescribed eye drops I can get a lot of dried eye crud. Add in the need to avoid touching your eyes while we work to slow the spread of Covid 19 and a good eye cleaner is necessary. I am into my 3rd box of OCuSOFT Lid Scrub Plus, Pre-Moistened Pads, 30 Count. I am a satisfied user and can recommend them. I also recommend shopping around as I have seen wide variations in pricing.
Against the recommendation that pads can be cut in half, you may want to think about contaminating anything that will go near your eyes. Near your eyes as in not in.
While not searing if the moisture gets into your eyes, it can be mildly unpleasant. Neither I nor the instructions suggest that anything other than closing your eye and using a side to side motion.
Its convenient that this is a leave on formula, so I've been using this before bed while I use the regular wipes in the morning.
I'm a little hesitant to say this will do more than I anticipated due to the possibility of the underestimation of the severity of my self-diagnosed blepharitis. (Lotta words, but the bottom line is, I'm considering seeing an ophthalmologist at this point).
I will say, I've felt relief as soon as a couple of days of use. I've also seen a lot less of the scaly flakes and cracked skin near my lashes. Though it has not been long (I began using these for a week now), I get the feeling that nothing has improved beyond the relief I felt by day 2 and now I'm wondering if this will clear my inflamed eyelids without future intervention.
As far as removing cosmetics, they are not very effective towards waterproof products, but will certainly help anything else. I personally prefer to remove the makeup first so that my eyelids are free enough to absorb any moisturizing properties these wipes have to offer. Also, this may be why my eyelids have not cleared up, but I'm too stubborn to walk out of the house without some falsies at least.
This is probably the most confusing review you'll ever read, but I recommend trying it out yourself and I'm positive you'd see results rather quickly. They're not that expensive either so why not? I'd recommend you not skip a day until you've used up the whole box. I learned that even when there's a day where I don't touch my eyes whatsoever, the irritation gets a little worse.
I had PRK surgery and used these twice daily leading up to the procedure. Then a year and a half later, I started having some complications with dryness and they had to put duct plugs in. I used these wipes ahead of that procedure and following it just to make sure my eye lids were in good shape and all of the glands were clean.
They are easy to use and don’t burn, but the fabric itself is incredibly rough and can be irritating. It also seems like the wipe itself could be way smaller and still work well. Seems like half the size would be great. If I’m going to be using them twice a day or 2 days in a row, I’ll cut the pad in half and find it’s perfect.
