This mousse/foam is great for my really fine hair that has a bad tendency to get weighed down and flattened by product. It helps give some structure and volume so that I can properly style. My biggest concern with this product is with the bottle; it has a tendency for the push-button-thingy to stay depressed until I pop the nozzle back in place. Not a huge issue, but it concerns me over the bottle's longevity, especially since I don't need much at a time for my shorter hair. The foam also has a decently strong scent which I don't mind but which isn't my favorite (kind of flowery and fruity but not very distinct). Also, while I imagine the tall, thin bottle design helps get all of the product out, do be warned that this is not a good option for travel!
I have fine thinning hair and found the only way i can use this because it's a heavy foam is about a nickel-size amount. Then I get more fluff in my hair. Anymore than that and it weighs down my hair. Do love the shine!
I have a sensitive scalp so I have to be careful how much I use of the product. It serves it's purpose, as I have a lot of fine hair that needs some lift and texture. Good price for the product. Thick, creamy mousse.
The red cap sculpting foam has a firmer and longer hold. This extra-body sculpting foam does increase volume. I prefer a wet look with a strong hold on scrunched body curls, typically my hair looks better the day after and then holds up for 3 to 4 days when using the Sculpting foam, unlike the extra-body SF my hair was slightly wavy by the end of the day.
I found this just okay. I don't love the smell, and didn't care for the texture. My hair did well for the first few hours and then it seems to droop. If you have medium to thick hair it probably works better.
