Ms Harlow is a new author to me, and I can’t wait to read all her books.
Mack is a former marine, single dad, trying his best for his daughters. He is a full-time dad, hands-on for everything and anything, housework, girls lunches boxes, trying to stay sane as much as he can.
His house is chaos organise in his way; he needs help; he can feel he going to drown soon.
As a CFO at Cloverleigh Farms, he does his best, but he is struggling.
Frannie has a volleyball team on her side, and she is the youngest of five sisters. Her parents are the owners of Cloverleigh Farm, and she works for them.
After Mack’s wife left him, Frannie became his part-time nanny, she can’t stop to think about him, how good he is with his daughters, all his muscles, hotness and she became kind of obsessed with him, she can’t help herself, he is perfect for god sake!
Mack isn’t blind, he can see all the curves and beauty Frannie carries, but she is the daughters of his boss, and this can’t happen, but he can’t stop the fantasies.
Mack & Fannie are amazing together; their relationship is real, with real problems and fears.
This book got me by surprise, and I love every word.
Single dad to 3 girls, part-time nanny, and an age gap = yep, I'm definitely reading this book.
Mack is finding life very chaotic being a single dad to 3 girls, there's just not enough time in the day for everything he needs to do. Between work and his girls, his plate is full to overflowing. That doesn't mean he is blind to his attraction to the gorgeous Frannie Sawyer, he just knows he can't act on those feelings. Until he does.
Frannie just wants to live her life after a very sheltered upbringing. She wants to experience more, and part of that is Mack. Mack can be very sweet at times, but he also messes up. A lot. Frannie was a gorgeous character, very understanding of Mack's situation and wonderful with his girls. Irresistible was an easy read that I found to be very low on angst.
Have read other books by Melanie Harlow and will continue reading them in future. This book really drew me in. The characters were written very realistic and the problems they encountered in their developing relationship and daily life felt real. Loved that Frannie is a strong character who goes after what she wants, Mack. It was lovely to read thedynamics in Mack's family, the banter between Mack and the girls was delightful. The daily struggle Mack encountered taking care of his daughters felt real. Looking forward to Chloe's book!
I get giddy with excitement when I see the Melanie Harlow has released a new book, and Irresistible didn't disappoint. Mack and Frankie's story had everything, charm, sizzling chemistry, sexy banter and amazing characters. I really enjoyed this story.
