Once again another masterpiece from Jean Grainger. I have become a keen reader of her books and love to follow the main characters of the 'tour books' , the challenges and personal stories of each one as the storyline and adventures unfold. Connor is the glue that brings people together both at the castle and on tour, and this fourth book is no exception. It was encouraging to know that Jean did base this story on her personal experiences as a tour leader, so the depth of character and emotion is felt throughout the book. As I turn the pages I am transported back to Ireland and it's unique beauty and people.
This is another heart warming story from the pen of the wonderful Jean Grainger. It is an intelligently written story about love and loss and caring about others. This book, like life, entangles and threads its way around and through peoples lives often without them realising what they have received or just what it means to them sometimes until it is too late. This is a most satisfying story that is hard to put down and will stay with you as will the often vastly different characters that populate this snippet of human life as it could and more often, should be.
