are included in the suspects in this latest Kim Stone book, all of them have been among the villains she has arrested over the past nine books and one of them wants her seriously dead. I like Kim, she isn't an easy person to get to know but somewhere deep down she has a very dry sense of humour that, once you get it, draws you to her. Her crew is close knitted and each of them clearly defined with their own skills that make these books really interesting. Angela Marsons admitted at the end of this particular book that it wasn't the one she planned to write, but it 'took over her thoughts and wouldn't be ignored' so maybe the next book will be the one she intended to write. Whatever, they are all very good yarns, complex and twisted, thus attention holding.
My favourite series just gets better and better. Another gripping storyline with believable characters right through from Kim Stone to Barney the dog. Would have been surprised to find a dog which likes munching carrots, except I recently saw that they are used to train Guide Dogs
This a great series to read. Well written, keeps one interested and quite fixated. If you haven’t read the other books in the series I highly recommend you start at book 1 then keep going. You’ll not be sorry.
What an incredible book and I loved it. As the story progresses, it is great to watch the characters of Kim Stone and her team develop further still. There are some light-hearted moments and some sad moments as well but the build up to the end is wonderful and you just want to keep reading to see what happens. Can't wait till the next book.
I loved this book as I have loved all of the previous Detective Kim Stone stories. They are so unusual and convincing. I have never been disappointed with one of Angela Marsons' books yet, she is a wonderful writer.
