I was very surprised at how easy this book is to read. The receipes are concise and easy to make, there are no ingredients that most home cooks wouldn't have in their pantry. The chicken and fish section is extremely well thought out. In the meat section, beef bourguignon is a stand out dish. Soups too were really good, but I think that taking a classic like minestrone, and making it low fat just wouldn't have that big soup taste, and that's what minestrone means, big soup. All in all, this is a well thought out book. Perfect for the 5:2 diet.
So excited to read this book..... a simple explanation of just how to make 5:2 diet work ! The new plan is much more sustainable and easier to follow. With many great tasty recipes (measurements in both imperial and metric) and helpful tips I am looking forward to re starting this eating plan. Thanks for such a great book!
