I love the Renegade Saints. These beautiful men are more than sex in a stick. They are sweet & strong & so protective. I loved Gavin & Leah. I'm glad their story wasn't angsty - they've been through too much in their past to have more drama. I can't wait to get more from these boys
A twist of fate is true for both Gavin and Leah, what happens after a chance meeting years ago they never think they'll see each other again as both of them are in bad places in their lives, that fateful night.
So what will happen when Leah ends up on the Renegade Saints farewell tour, how will Gavin react to Leah and will he remember her, because what he said all those years ago helped her somewhat, so can Gavin help her with her emotional hurt of the past she can't let go?
This is the second book in the series and a second chance to make things better for the drummer Gavin and Leah as they try to move forward in an emotional rockstar story.
Miss Foxy has done it again. She's given me another extremely long day ahead of me due to me doing another all nighter! I make no secret about my love of the Hart family or their relatives so I was always preconditioned to love this book however having said that I loved this book for a different reason than the rest of the series. Here's why.
All the other books have such sadness and heartbreak before the happy ending comes to fruition, in this book it's already been covered how awful and tragic Leah's life has been so Ella brilliantly didn't string that out in this book where a lot of authors would have done and have done. Yes it was mentioned and touched upon but it wasn't what made the book. What made it for me was that I was expecting it all to go wrong at some point and for the characters to not really admit how they felt and the whole will they, won't they get together when you know damn well that they will or some big miscommunication but it didn't and that was so refreshing for me.
Ella is my go to author when her book releases I never ponder for long over the one-click button it's a straight click for me the minute it goes live. I've not picked up one of her books that I have been able to put down. Her dialogue is always the best thing about her books for me and this one was really funny. I loved Leah's internal monologue and the hilarious made up words. Gavin is a great character too and not your run of the mill rich alpha who impregnates her by looking at her and he's patient and really cheeky.
My lone criticism about this (which I've already imparted on Ms Fox) is Dante gets about 2 lines which is about 200 too short for me and even his one lil cameo appearance made me want to start Broken Hart all over again. Dante Hart will always be my top 5 book boyfriends. One day I will pop over to America and harangue Ella in person to write the man another novel coz she just ain't listening to my Facebook stalking!
If you want a heartwarming 'meat and potatoes' read get this book but read all the rest first of the series first as you really won't get invested in her cast of merry men and their girls the way everyone oughta.
The 2nd book in the renegade saints series is just as brilliant as the first. I absolutely loved Flynn's story in book one and didn't think book 2 could be as good, but just like the Hart series, the books keep getting better.
This book is Gavin (Flynn's band member) and Leah's (who we know from the Hart series) story. It begins when Lean goes into hiding on the renegade saint's farewell tour. The two meet and form an instant connection. Where Gavin has been a rock and roll playboy, Leah is still struggling from past traumas. However the two form a beautiful connection and seeing Gavin help Leah through her past is beautiful. The story between them both is addictively sweet right from the very first page until the last.
As will all Ella Fox's novels, you will love the characters, see plenty of previously loved characters and be hooked throughout. A brilliant series- looking forward to reading Cole's story next.
Another brilliant read from Ella Fox. I love the Hart series and the renegade saints, the way the characters are intermingled takes the story to a whole new level.
This book is about Leah and Gavin the drummer from Renegade Saints. Leah is a Hart, needing to be protected from an ongoing threat she is taken on tour with the Renegade Saints for her own safety. Leah struggles to trust men after an horrific event in her past so when she finds herself with a room mate she begins to realise that some men are worth her trust.
Reading Leah's story was a joy, the tenderness between characters is apparent. I loved this book and look forward to reading the others in the series.
This is good second book in the renegade series, this is Leah and Gavin's story, they are a sweet couple, and Gavin helps Leah overcome a lot of issues she had in her earlier years, but the present threat is actually told in another book, so there is no suspense in this book, only the phone call to say all is fixed and well, this is a falling in love story!! And a happy ever after, that leaves you with a smile on your face ..
Omg!! I totally fell for Gavin Wilde! The way he was with Leah, you really want a guy like him! We finally got see how their love story fits in with all the other stories in the series and it def doesn't disappoint that's for sure! I must admit I did shed a few tears at some parts especially the epilogue! Also laughed especially the karaoke! Can't forget the phew scenes of course lol. Def recommend this book and another Brill job by Ella Fox! Roll on next one! <3
OMG Gavin is a sweetheart, he cared for her that night, she'd never forgot him, surprisingly he'd never forgotten her either! Years and traumas pass and fate intervenes, Gavin rescues Leah again for the final time. Fab addition to the series
