To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Not bad Sitting this exam in 3 weeks. If I pass I'll upgrade to 5 stars. Otherwise it doesn't tell you a whole lot that others havent. It's more of a personal account of how this person studied, in print.
The 1st edition of this booked helped me to pass both my exams on the first attempt. I have just gifted it to a colleague sitting exams in 2017. I have organised multiple clinical exams and coached exam candidates and recommend this book.
It is a well rounded collection of moderated advice on how to approach the exams. If you ask your colleagues how to pass, everyone will tell you what they did, which may not work for you. There are also many rumours about the exams that can lead you astray. This sensible collation of advice probably represents the averaged opinion you'd get if you asked dozens of adv trainees (like myself) and consultants how to pass.
I note that the authors are mostly Kiwis - I sat my exam in Australia, and every single word is applicable.
