I really enjoyed the author's writing style, it made the book easy to read and engaging. I thought I understood minimalism before reading but now I see it was just one facet that I'd understood. He explains it so well and shows how it isn't really a set recipe for what is minimalist, it goes much deeper than just getting rid of stuff or having a goal for your ideal number or possessions. His focus on living intentionally reallly resonated with me and particularly in regards to parenting.
I would recommend this book to any parent or parent to be. Even if you, like I did, think you could never be a minimalist I think you'll find lots of gems in this great book that might change the way you look at stuff but also challenge your priorities.
Wow! This book has changed me completely (and for the better) I was a person that had so much stuff that it was taking over. My house, lounge room and bedroom was always a mess as I had no where to put things. After reading this book, I started "de-owning" straight away and boy does it feel great! aNd the money I have saved by this tips and selling some of my un wanted goods have been great! I am so so thankful I read this book as it has conerely changed my life and definitely for the better. Certainly won't be going back to my old life again.
