Ordered several copies to give as gifts to traveling friends and I’m glad I did. Love the gorgeous illustrations as it gives the book a light feel (rather than most densely packed guide books) w plenty of space for notes. Each few pages entices you to visit a different museum - each section on a museum reads a little like a short story. Even a teenager or young adult could read this book and decide what s/he wants to see in Paris. They might even be willing to go with their parents:)
What a charming guide to the charming smaller museums in the charming city of Paris! I mean, this book was a no brainer for me and it lived up to my high expectations! Love it and if you're planning a trip to Paris (or dreaming of one) I definitely recommend it!
I just love this book. From it's perfect size(easy to carry around if you are commuting or just sitting at home) to it's beautifully written text describing all about the history of each museum. It's wonderfully illustrated pages can't help but bring a smile to your face. Emma did a gorgeous job gathering facts about the artists, various objects and treasures that fill the many museums in Paris. When you open this book it just magically transports you. She lists the hours, locations and even what Metro stop to get off at. I bought four of these little treasures and gave them away as gifts.
This book is delightfully filled with beautiful illustrations and fun details about the museums of Paris! It doesn't hit you over the head with unnecessary information and manages to capture just enough to compel you to visit places that might not have originally made it to your "must see" list. Can't wait to pick up copies for friends and family visiting Paris!
