basically there are tons of problems with kindle edition, some of them can crumple the reading experience, and some of them can make reading impposible. the most severe problem is the reference and notes. the publisher made all the reference and notes a table format, which was pretty good at first glance-----until you keep clicking these reference links. the KIndle was a terrible e reader with little RAM and numberous bugs, one of which is sometimes kindle will just blindly load all the contents of the whole reference list (such problem won't appear in other e-readers), and a reference list in table format is absolutely a RAM killer. If you keep reading this kindle book, you will find your kindle dead almost every time you click the reference link (mine is kindle voyage, the most prime one in kindle family), making me wonder does the publisher really try this book on kindle after making it. I know 100% that both Amazon and publisher won't care and fix this problem, even though it will just need the publisher to simply delete all the "table format“ code in html files which would cost less than one minute. But I still want to express my voice, heard or not.
