A short and light friends-to-lovers romance. For me it wasn't very well fleshed out, with the plot a little unsatisfying and the characters laking sufficient depth. I did not particularly like the serial-killer obsessed h, Millie. Although she was 'supposed to be' a college professor, she was quite immature and lacking in self-knowledge, and she was unthinkingly cruel in her behaviour towards the H. Towards the later part of the book I started to skim :( I've liked some of these writers' earlier books, but for me this one was nothing special.
I love Christina Lauren books so much! The writing, the characters and the storyline are always so well done. The will-they-won't-they dynamic in this book means you will breeze through it as you won't want to put it down!
The friendship group was amazing, the romance sweet, I only wish I'd been able to emotionally connect more with Millie (but then, that was kind of the point). Reid is a dreamboat with a douchey name! 😍
