A well written, informative book that shares insights and strategies to improve the way we think, work and play. For me, it explained so much about certain situations or challenges I have experienced in terms of how the brain is organized, and what I can do to improve. Just knowing why was an immense help, let alone what I could do about it. I took a lot of notes as well as clear actions I can take (and have started to take) to organize my mind and my life better.
This book is a good mixture of scientific background and practical applications that help one work with the physiology of the brain rather than against it. In a few places I thought the author was padding the text with repetitive and unnecessary detail, but overall it's a good read.
This book moves off on tangents too often and too far. I was able to stick it out to 65% on my Kindle App in the hope that I would gain some sort of insight into getting myself organized, but it didn't happen and my attention was lost. Maybe someone else will get some benefit from the book, sadly I didn't.
