This book was everything you thought this series and much much more. It was a complete thrill from adventure to adventure and of course some Greek mythology on the side. Now that Percy’s a little older his world has started to expand to girls well at least to Annabeth. And this book we see that his relationship with Annabeth starts to get a little more complicated than what it was before. There were some changes throughout the book that showed how all the characters have grown older and a little wiser of sorts.
Kronos is still rising and Luke is still evil as evil can be but sometimes I feel slightly sorry for him, as he’s just a puppet for Kronos. I love where fantasy and mythologies intercept it makes the entire book that much more fun. I did have to stop and look up some of the myths to understand a little bit more but I had so much fun doing it.
I’ve just been whizzing through this series! So amazing!
