Didn’t know what to make of this book but it is definitely well written. Great metaphor on the metamorphosis from the idealistic idea of communism to the reality.

As a child I just read this as a story. Now I get the sub-plot. It's a good read, but quite sad. Still very enjoyable.

Engaging and interesting. A very insightful and thought-provoking read. I would recommend anyone interested in history to pick this up.

A reflection of communist and socialist regimes. Very similar to that of Orwells 1984. Interrsting use of hyraxhical metaphor. Overall a page turning read.

I have read this book many times in the last 20 years. Great messages exist in it, different messages depending on current life circumstances.

Very appropriate to our World today. Read it in my school days and I'm sure it is still relevant today.
