First the Cons: 1 Battery life needs to be improved. I end up charging it about every other day. 2 Difficult to see the display in sunlight. Doesn't come with a charger, but I use the one for my phone so that's not a big deal to me.
Now the Pros: 1 I like the phone app, easy to use and quick to sync. 2 It seems to be accurate on all accounts. Sleep is pretty close to sleep study results. Steps are within 1-2% (that may be my fault in part because I always get interrupted when counting steps). Heart rate is right on. 3 Great for motivation, I always know how close I am to my goal. 4 Has time and date. 5 Swipe to cycle through tracker.
The more I use this, the more I like it. The accuracy is on par with the 130HR. For the past week, it tracked the same sleep time as the other tracker. The step is a little bit off between 5% - 10% lower, but I found that motivate me more to be more active and walk an extra mile or so.
Some might not agree with me. I my chase, this is now my daily tracker.
I am currently using 130UHR color and was looking for a smaller form factor. After trying the tracker for couple days, I have to say that it is a very nice once. Here are what I like and dislike about this fitness band:
- It is smaller and less noticeable.
- Watch style band and the loop has a stopper prevent the loop sliding forth and back
- Sharp display. Maybe because it is black and white, the display stands out more than the 130UHR color
- Comfortable compare to my watch and the 130HR color. It is easy (quicker too!) to forget that I am wearing it
- Easy charging. Plug the tracker to PC USB and it is fully charged about 1.5 hours out from the box
- Battery life: After three days of use, I still have about 80% battery left. It is not bad at all. Probably the black and white display contrinuted to low energy consumption
- Display can either be verticle or horizontal. I found horizontal is easier to read and track compared to 130HR. However, it is easy to change via the app. Just my personal preference
Charging: The band is very tough to remove for charging. Understand that is to ensure water resistance. However, still find it annoying.
It all depends on what I do or you do. I found myself using this one more for activities and fitness. It has a small form factor, feel more like a band, and feel better for workout.
1. To be able to count my steps,
2. To monitor my heart rate, and
3. To have a wrist watch with a slim profile
For other folks, there are far more excellent features on the tracker that I have not tried yet.
The set-up was incredibly easy, and I’ve been using this fitness tracker for a week now. I absolutely it! I did a lot of research on fitness trackers, but this one was the best for me in terms of value and price. It’s a little difficult removing one part of the wristband in order to charge the device, but actually, it doesn’t need charging that much. So far, the charge has lasted 6 days.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR PROMPT SHIPPING, BUT MOST OF ALL, THANK YOU FOR MAKING AN EXCELLENT FITNESS TRACKER AVAILABLE AT SUCH A GREAT PRICE.
