This model's HDD is ST5000LM000, same as its previous portable models. So they have almost identical performance, too. Obviously ST5000LM000 is an SMR model with 5 disks and 15+mm height. As you can see by the photo is a very snug fit and i fear overtime the bag will split at the corners where the laptop protrudes out. I can fit it ok in the front pocket, just not the designed space

Running on Load Optimized Defaults in Bios and although theyre not whisper quiet, I don't really notice the noise even with the case panel open.
If they do get loud, I'm gaming with a headset on so again I don't notice it.

I have 3 x LL120s which do look a lot better but the ML120s are definitely quieter. These go down to as low as 400rpm so can't be beaten for noise. The Commander software is a bit complicated but good once it is
