It was soft and felt nice but, very thin backing on this product. I tested the product on the grass near the back deck at home for 5 minutes. When I went to roll it up and there was a rip already, extremely thin padding, don't know why they even bothered. Sorry this happened but its the truth. I'm going to return it, its no use to us

It's a sandy beach and this blanket is the best I've purchased so far, can withstand drops of wine, doesn't let sand come through and the pockets/pegs are super useful.
