I’m a confirmed fan of Damien Boyd’s characters and his writing style. Enough descriptive writing to give the reader a fair sense of settings and nice strong “real” characters. A nice flowing story moving through the investigation of the intricacies of a messy conspiracy. I’m looking forward to number 10 and the lives of Nick, Jane and Monty as much as the police investigation that will go along with it. Bring it on as soon as possible. Another one of my favourite authors.
This was worth waiting for, yet another good book from Damien Boyd. As an animal lover the ongoing care of Monty was a good distraction from all the investigations with Dixon eventually bringing it altogether in the end.
Another book I found difficult to put down. Being legally blind, I’m a painfully slow reader, but Nick Dixon stories are fast paced. I found this one just as fascinating as all th3 others. The twists and turns kept me guessing throughout. Thank you Damien Boyd. I look forward to the next edition.
It's what I've come to expect from this author. A great storyline, written so as to be believable making it so difficult to put down. I found myself trying to extend the reading time as I didn't want it to end.
