I installed the Ring Video Doorbell Elite about a week ago and very impressed. I would advise setting it up on the bench before installation as the 1st one I ordered was dead out of the box. Lost stars for this, but recovered due to good customer service and prompt replacement. The doorbell itself looks like a quality product and was easy to install. The app is super intuitive and works like a charm, but my internet is fairly good (90Mbs down & 35Mbs up). A slow connection might give you issues.
My first Ring Elite failed within a few weeks, apparently hung during a firmware update and was irretrievably lost. Ring had to send out a replacement. If you have under about 5-6Mbps down and 1Mbps up on your internet, then Video feed is next to useless and you have paid for just a doorbell (but a slow doorbell with poor latency). I was able to upgrade internet service by adding a 4G and bundling together with DSL, after which point it worked fine. Amazon however seel to be going the way of Apple where they won't integrate with competitors. It works fine with Alexa video integration but unlike hundreds of other providers out there, they cannot seem to find the resources to integrate with Google Assistant / Home and Google Home Video which is about 70% of the assistant market in Australia. I am going to replace with a Nest Hello as soon as they become more mainstream in Australia.
