These are designed for use in a compact space, either next to a laptop/desktop on a desk or on a bookshelf. They deliver better sound with a louder volume and more frequency range than speakers built into a laptop or phone but will not deliver a premium sound. They clip and distort at high volume and have a very muddy bass. The midrange and high frequencies are a little better. In summary, they are fit for purpose. Cheap compact speakers for an office, kid’s bedroom or study that give an incremental step up in sound quality for very little money.
5/10 when it comes to sound and build quality. But considering the price, it’s a super budget 2.1 set. If there is a serious need then go for it otherwise just wait for your budget to rise and would suggest to go for a JBL or Harman Kardon
I was looking for speakers to connect to my TV - these are very small and not suitable for a living room, at max can work for a PC but even then not good quality. Better put in some more money and get proper ones.
