This is amazing! My previous drone is a Phantom 2 Vision Plus v3.0, and it was bulky, clunky, and takes time to setup. With the Spark, it was quick and easy, and more importantly, the photo and video quality is much better! Only downside is that it is slower than the Phantom, and that’s expected since it is smaller with weaker props. I’m very happy with my new “wings” since my Phantom died.
UPDATE: This drone is amazing! My mistake for not being able to control it, but despite human error, causing it to crash to the wall 3 times, it survived, and it still works like new, albeit a few scratches. I'm VERY happy with this purchase so far!
I bought the Spark as an upgrade to a Tello drone and I’m very impressed. Dismissed as a toy when first released, this is a very capable aircraft. Video is mostly smooth and clear, and the GPS and visual positioning capability means it’s stable and should return to home. Many complain about the lack of 4K video, but the 1080 image is still pretty good and much easier to edit on a normal home computer. Folding arms would make it even easier to carry but there’s the Mavic Air for that and 4K video.
I've been having a ball with my spark, very responsive and quite quick for what people call a beginner drone. couple of annoying things though, with the fan guards in place the drone doesn't fit back in the box annoying but not unexpected. The wifi link to the control can sometimes disconnect ( hasn't happened in flight) from the drone and it was annoying as hell to reconnect. Overall a great drone and the intelligent flight modes and hand gestures are awesome.
Well, there are tons of reviews on this already so I don't think I have more to offer. It's a fun drone for beginners and for someone who is not willing to pay for the higher end ones like me. For the price, the flight time and features are good enough for my personal use of flying and taking videos.
