The trial that was the death knell for the Age of Aquarius. The beautiful innocence that was defined in the hippy message of peace and love was shattered by the actions depicted in this wonderfully written book. In turn horrifying, mesmerising and astonishing, the writers capture not just the events leading up to and during the trial, but the whole spirit of the age. A must read for all who are interested in the 1960s and true crime.
This book is excellent, the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the authors constantly switch between aliases, first names and last names. With the large amount of people in the book I found myself jumping back quite often to figure out who they meant. Highly recommend reading however, it's fantastic.
Mr Bugliosi (the writer) had put so much effort and detail into this book, it's unbelievable! Great book but it is cringeworthy at times due to brutality the killers committed upon those innocent people.
