A drawing together of a myriad loose ends in a gigantic ball of string. This book, I wouldn't call it a novel, describes the actions and dedication and sacrifices of a broad range of Uniformed Police, Detectives, SES volunteers, Emergency Service workers, neighbours, friends, family and professionals, to bring to justice one of the most callous, self centred murderers we have encountered in Queensland.
Just when a new name is brought into the story you think what on earth has this got to do with the investigation, yet in a short space of time, all is revealed and the noose tightens just a little more each time.
Unless you knew of the Baden-Clay case to start with it would be difficult to believe that this is a book of facts, not fiction, but sadly it is fact.
I could not put it down once I started and will probably read it again in the very near future
