I chose to read this book as I seen the movie review.
It basically is a good story but very tedious to read, I almost didn't finish it, the ending had me on the edge of my seat, but wasn't worth ploughing through the rest to get to.
Wouldn't recommend it and probably won't read any of the others either.

It is one of those books where you think you know the ending but it changes and then later on you are sure you know the ending only for it to change once again. All along the way there are little clues that at the time don't seem important but later they help unravel a interesting great story . A real good who dune it read read

I loved this book. Jo Nesbo's books are always difficult to put down and I end up by reading well into the night. His Harry Hole is a thinking persons Jack Reacher.

Most satisfaction comes from reading the Harry Hole books as a chronological series

Harry Hole reminds me a bit of Montalbano's character from Camilleri's books.
Reads very well. I'll surely start reading the other books of the series too
