Respected Australian cook, television food show presenter, author, restaurateur and food manufacturer Maggie Beer has teamed up with neurologist Professor Ralph Martins to produce a wonderful book on the science of nutrition and ageing. This publication is not aimed solely at older people; the authors also encourage those between the ages of 30 and 50 to have a good look at their diet in relation to the ageing process. Professor Martins is an Alzheimer's researcher, and Beer is well known for her other cookbooks with their mouth-watering, well-tested recipes. The recipes in this book are up to Beers usual standard, and I can't wait to try some of them! The proceeds of this publication will be shared between the Lions Alzheimer's Research Foundation and the Maggie Beer Foundation.
