When you return an item, your refund and how your refund is issued may differ based on how long you've had the item, how the item was purchased and the reason for the return.
If you return an item sold and fulfilled by Amazon AU that is eligible for return (as described in our Returns policy) within the return window for that item, you will receive a refund of the price you paid for the item. In some cases a restocking fee may be deducted from your refund, in accordance with our Returns policy. For most items sold and fulfilled by Amazon AU the return window is 30 days after delivery, however you can check the applicable return window by going to Your Orders and clicking Return Items. Amazon AU is not required to accept change of mind returns on items outside the return window or any returns (either within or outside the applicable return window) if the item is damaged through customer misuse or tampering or the item is returned with parts missing. Alternatively, Amazon AU may accept the item for return subject to charging a restocking fee which will be advised at the time.
Where eligible, in accordance with our Returns policy, we will refund return shipping costs.
This Policy and any related return and refund rights we offer you apply in addition to other rights and remedies you may have under law including under the Australian Consumer Law.
Most refunds are issued based on the payment method used at the time of purchase. The following are the refund timelines associated with each payment method.

When you return an item to us, after we receive the item, it may take 1-5 business days to process your return and refund.
Note: In cases where the original payment method is a credit card, we may process a refund via Gift Card balance upon your request, or if the refund cannot be made to the credit card used for payment.
You can check the status of your refund in Your Account on the order's summary page.
If your refund is not showing as refunded in Your Account, and the processing time for your payment method has passed, you can contact us for further assistance.
