Change Your Account Settings

If you need to make changes to your name, mobile number, account information, you can update these from the Settings section in Your Account.

Note: If you have Two-Step Verification enabled, you'll be required to enter a security code to make changes to the information in Your Account Settings or to disable Two-Step Verification. For more information on Two-Step Verification, see About Two-Step Verification.

To change account settings:

  1. Go to Your Account and select Change Account Settings.
  2. Click Edit next to the account information you'd like to update.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions and click Save Changes.
  4. Click Done after you've completed all your updates.

If you change your e-mail address, your communications preferences will automatically be associated with your new e-mail address.

If you've forgotten your password, go to Reset Your Password .

Note: If you change the e-mail address on your account to an e-mail address that is already associated with another Amazon account, we will ask that you first verify your e-mail address. For more information, go to E-mail Account Verification .
