About Amazon Renewed

Amazon Renewed is your trusted destination for quality refurbished products.

What are Amazon Renewed products?

Products listed on Amazon Renewed have been inspected and tested to look and work in a 'Like New' condition by an Amazon qualified and performance managed supplier, who may be qualified manufacturers or specialized third-party refurbishers. The suppliers must meet strict criteria to be able to sell on Amazon Renewed and meet ongoing performance targets.

The refurbishment process typically includes a full diagnostic test, replacement of any defective parts, a thorough cleaning and inspection process, and repackaging by the seller or refurbisher. The products have no visible cosmetic imperfections when held 30 centimeters away. The products may be packaged in a generic box and come with accessories that may be generic, with exceptions, if any, mentioned on the product detail page.

Note: Wireless devices may not come with headphones (unless otherwise stated on the product detail page) and have batteries tested to have at least 80% capacity at the time of sale.

2. Do Amazon Renewed products come with a warranty?

Products on Amazon Renewed come with a minimum six-month seller-backed warranty. This warranty is in addition to, and does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law including any rights or remedies you may have in respect of faulty items . An Amazon qualified seller will provide a replacement or refund within six months of your receipt if the product does not work as expected. This warranty is in conjunction with Amazon's Return Policy that applies to products sold by Amazon AU, and the A-to-z Guarantee, which applies to products sold by third-party sellers.
