Create Your Wish List

You can create a List profile and add items to your list to keep track of the items you're eyeing

Struggling to remember all the gifts you need to buy? Watch the video below to see how to create an Amazon AU Wishlist.

To create a List:

  1. Hover over Account & Lists at the top right corner of any Amazon.com.au page and select Create a List from the drop-down.
  2. Click on the 'Create a List' button.
  3. Choose your list type, provide a name to your list and select whether you want the list to be Private or Public and click Create a List.
  4. Update your list's name, default delivery address, birthday, personal description and preferences by clicking on the list menu(…) at the top of your list and then selecting 'Manage list'.

    Note:

    • The name, city and state of the shipping address you select may be visible to someone who purchases an item for you from your List.
    • Amazon will only use your birthday for List birthday reminders chosen by the customer and to generate information on the site.
    • You can update this information again anytime.
  5. Click Save Changes and browse for an item.
  6. Click Add to List under the Buy box on the right-hand side of any item's product detail page.

    Note:

    • Only List owners can make changes through 'Manage List'. Both list owners and collaborators will be able to add and remove items.
    • You can add items for sale by Amazon.com.au to your List, except out-of-print books, out-of-stock products, items that don't have release dates, and items with quantity restrictions.
    • You can add items available from Sellers to your List. Potential purchasers will see See Buying Options instead of Add to Basket next to the item, since the same copy of the item may not be available later.
    • You can repeat this process to create multiple Lists; there's no limit. Your default List is the one that items are added to when you click Add to List. For more information on moving items between lists, go to Edit Items in Your List.
