In this book we meet Gillian and Lucas. The tension between them really does start from the beginning with a bang, literally, when she pushes the water trolley straight into him.
With him being the hot new quarterback and her ‘just’ the intern this don't sit well. It doesn't help that Gillian is the coaches daughter.
The story is hot and funny, and I really loved how the sexual tension between them kept me gripped, wanting more from every page. There was also tears, which isn't new for me, but it still had me going back to see if they would get their HEA.
I loved this book from the start, however there was too much about American football at the beginning for my liking, hence the 4 stars. But it didn't stop me continuing and enjoying.
This is not the first book I've read from this author and it certainly won't be the last. Books after fifty
