I buy a lot of books on natural health, because I'm a holistic health therapist and I'm always looking to broaden my horizons. I tend to be drawn towards books that emphasize diet, because that's where true health begins. I also look at the author, to see if they have some qualification in their field. In this case the author has qualifications in nutrition, biochemistry and biology.
Real Food for Healthy People is one of those books that stand out for me. I must state here, that I have not completely finished reading it, but am very impressed with what I have read so far. The author has sifted through her knowledge and come up with a very workable plan, for her own clients, to significantly improve health and avoid chronic disease by the use of nutrition alone.
There is a full list of ingredients and equipment needed for proper food preparation, and the recipes are delicious and beautifully illustrated. I can't wait to start implementing them in my own kitchen!
