I had no idea what I was getting into when I started this book. It turned out to be a train wreck of epic proportions, that I could not the life of me turn away from and I was reading into the early hours of the morning to finish it.
Every choice that was made frustrated and annoyed me to the point I didn't like Haden and Presley. It also verged on scenarios that I avoid reading at all cost because I get no enjoyment from reading what so ever. I actually felt physical pain with what kept unfolding.
There was an unusual pacing to the story that I didn't overly like, which at times had my head reeling.
This is difficult to rate because I did not get any enjoyment out of this story what so ever, but I was drawn in and captivated and I sure did "feel" - not pleasant feelings though.
So 2 stars because I didn't like it, but 4 stars because I can appreciate it was well done and it sucked me in. I will split the difference at 3!
