A solid 4.5 stars for me. I'm all into a well-written assassin book. This one doesn't disappoint. I particularly liked the writing style, which is very direct and gets on with the story. There's no superfluous narrative or repetition (which so many authors do), yet the author still manages plenty of great background description to give you a well-rounded picture of the overall story. I especially like the character development of Red from someone who had no memories, no emotion, no compassion or feelings. As he gets to know Isabel those all develop and come to the fore in as the book moves forward. Hopefully the following books continues the high standard.
