As a parent, bullying is something you always worry about and, more often than not, will have had experience of either yourself or through your child/children. This is a book that I think will create a lot of interesting debate with people on both sides of the fence as concerns sending your child to boarding school. Although I am sure, or at least I hope, that the author's year of 'bootcamp' experience is more atypical than many boarding school experiences I found it to be a very compelling and beautifully written read. There were many fascinating insights in girls' behaviour and worrying ones too. It is also far more believable as the author does not always paint herself in a flattering light. A definite must read for adults, teenagers and teachers.
