The situation was that I needed to feed Gladys the leech. I also needed teaching shots and this fitting did the job, as shown. Sadly, Gladys is a silly leech, and failed to feed, but when i do get her to feed, I know now that I have what I need to record the event.
Added to this, today, I needed a difficult subjective shot of a Strelitzia (Bird of Paradise flower). Picture a gentleman of Advanced Middle Age, clambering into a raised garden and forcing through thickets: the tripod and the Ulanzi came with me, and bewtween us, we delivered the shot.
