When I picked up this book I did not expect that my heart would hurt so much in the first couple of chapters. As the book went on my heart mended but wow, this book definitely packed a punch I did not expect. I really enjoyed this story and I loved watching Banks and Candy give in to their tension.
This book had me laughing at time, as always with a book by this author. I really love the little things at the start of each chapter, they are always something funny and never cease to make me laugh. I love the Valentine guys and I can not wait to read Darby's book next!
Again, Lani Lynn Vale has written a book that captures your heart in one swoop. I love how real her stories are, not sugar coating. Everything is real, and raw, and beautiful. I am so ready for more.
