When I first purchased this book, I was expecting to use it as a reference book for some of our various family health issues, but when I picked it up and turned to the relevant chapters, I found I couldn't put it down. Miriam Young writes this book in an easy personable style. Her personality shines through in such a way that the book is so easy to read and learn from. I also think that there is more to the book than just detoxes and cleanses. It also educates the reader about healthy eating choices and lifestyle.
