Holy Mother of All that is Dark! This lady sure does nail the dark broken anti-hero! And it is why I will keep picking up her books, time and time again.
T.L. Smith does not take it easy on her leads or her readers, and this story is no exception; Kisses and Lies will leave you gutted and restored in equal measure.
Rochelle, our dubious heroine, is broken emotionally at the beginning of this tale, and it only gets more complicated from there when she meets the shuttered, distant and darkly delicious Marcus Stone.
Though some events and timing in the story did leave me wanting a little more depth and fleshing out, this is characteristic of this author's style and regardless, I still loved this story and all of it's flawed damaged characters, and I can't wait for Rochelle's sister Kat's story
