I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.
This was good. Mary Burton can always be counted on for a good mystery. I actually read I See You while I was on a cruise in the sun. I enjoyed reading the story but not so much I couldn’t put it down and I always looked forward to picking it up again.
I See You follows two crimes many years apart. They have to be connected because it is far too much of a coincidence for them not to be but figuring out how was hard and complicated which I loved. The investigation into the two crimes had me second and third guessing what I thought had happened and who the killer or killers were.
I really liked that the lead characters Zoe and Vaughn where grown up adults with life experience, it made them more real. They worked well together professionally and their attraction added just the right amount of heat. Their romance was woven through the story well and didn’t overtake the crimes aspect. I See You gets a solid 4 stars from me.
