This contemporary Australian outback romance has a great vibe and is very readable. I loved it!
Lacey Jerome has left her life in Perth which involved marriage to a controlling man. Now divorced, she has come to Wirralong to be in a friend's wedding party. And she has fallen in love with the little town and it's wonderful people. An ideal place to put down new roots. Single man and local policeman, Cameron James is also in the wedding party. He's had a rough life and keeps all of his relationships casual. It saves heart ache that way. But there is something about beautiful, saxophone playing Lacey, that intrigues and attracts him. Hooking up after the wedding probably wasn't wise, but it was memorable. But after a late night call out involving a pregnant woman in labour, Lacey realises that Cameron is not prepared for a woman in his life. And that's a shame because she discovers she is pregnant.
