I'm not a great fan of 'second chance romance stories'. Having said that, it was hard to not to like both Justine and Maddie from the start. The storyline is strong and interesting. Both main characters have depth and I enjoyed the interaction of the cast of friends and family who support them. The story revolves around past mistakes and unanswered questions. It's the past mistakes interweaved with current day encounters that keep the story progressing. Can Justine get past old hurts and allow herself and Maddie a second chance? It's worth the read to find out! Lydon is one of my favourite authors and this book is another winner.
