This book was a very quick and easy read. All I wanted was the final chapters on the "How tos" to be sure I was doing things correctly as I've been doing IF for a while now but other than a few questions I had about why fasting is good, the info in the book was a little simplistic for me. However, it is an excellent resource for those who are wanting to start fasting. Fung has put together an excellent resource that all people should read to really understand what causes obesity and metabolic disease and how to reverse this. There aren't many people out there promoting this as a therapeutic treatment but they should be. I fasted for 7 days after I read this (for the health benefits, not the weight loss) and I felt amazing. Fasting has also taken my ketogenic diet to a whole new level and given me an appreciation for food as well as acknowledging that we all (meaninglessly) eat way too much. Definitely give this a read and get fasting!!
