This is the first book I have read by Jodi Watters, but it won't be the last. It captured me right from the prologue, which is written in the first person from Tessa's perspective. An emotional journey taken by two damaged people, it concludes with an epilogue written in first person from Jason's perspective. It is beautifully written, heartfelt and poignant, the style a little different from other books I have read, with a surprising twist at the end. And reading the prologue once again after finishing the story just adds to the whole experience. Well worth reading.
