Karen Moriarty's review Apr 24, 2018 · edit it was amazing
This was my third read from Fiona Cole and yet again l was super impressed.. This way far more than a student/teacher read for me and l found it to be really refreshing
It had me from the first page and the characters were so relatable that l found myself thinking long after l had finished reading the last page..
Callum is a college professor with a past that is slowly revealed through out the course of the story. Oaklyn is a college student doing all that she can to continue with her college education, when she finds herself in need of funds to stay studying. She finds herself working at an adult establishment when she is first seen by Callum as he is a member of this very exclusive club..
Oaklyn walks into her first day of a new class at college and surprises Callum by being his student.. What to do is the first of many dilemmas that present themselves to both our characters.. I found this to be a rather emotional read... It was refreshing to see a situation written about in an adult and commonsense way...Both points of view where expressed and easily understood and l loved that the characters both showed vulnerability and strength when needed... Such underlying pain and expressed from a source that l didn't expect had me surprised in a good way.. l absolutely loved this story and would highly recommend it to anybody who likes there stories delivered with heart and heapings of emotion....
