I thoroughly enjoyed the first book - very sweet and romantic and well-edited - so I had been looking forward to this one, but I was disappointed. It felt like the story had been rushed. I found the main characters cliched and unlikeable, and there were several unconvincing scenarios (a character running into their long lost dad while walking in the woods? Come on.) It was nowhere near as romantic as the first, with most characters either a sickly 'goody' or a horrible devious 'baddy', nothing at all in between. I like the general writing style and I did read it to the end, but I don't think I'll be getting the next one.
